Creeping plants can be of a variety of plant categories. Most on my list are perennials, but a few are woody shrubs. Use this list to find things that will stay fairly short, and fill in to become ground covers over time. Remember, avoid planting a mono-culture. Choose several plants, and plant as a tapestry or some sort of pattern that makes sense to you. Also see collection of succulent creeping sedums and sempervivums.
